We aim to teach "everyone with all wisdom" and "present everyone fully mature in Christ" Colossians 1:28. Yes! We believe high school students can be mature -- through Christ's salvation and Lordship. We hope to see each student saved and in a living relationship with Christ, where they grow in faith and find their identity in the local Church.
Weekday Bible studies extend this ministry, challenging and helping teens move into a relationship with Jesus where they make consistent Lordship decisions. Monday evenings during the school year, and Wednesday evenings in summer give them more social time, singing time, and even deeper study time in God's word.
God has blessed our High School ministry with leaders who are fun-loving and just plain loving. Kids enjoy events together with them whether it's getting "whip - creamed" or tossed into a swimming pool. Best part? Never knowing what will happen next!
We head to the mountains for an exciting break where we can deepen our friendships with Jesus and with each other. Whether at snowy Bear Valley, or good ol' Koinonia, we spend free time in God's creation and in His word together. Inspiring guest speakers motivate teens to take steps toward salvation or stronger commitment to the Lord. Mountains of food are also enjoyed by all!
